Tournament Format & Rules:
15-and-Under tournament
Players will have until 7:30 (7:00 in OC) to get the highest scoring game. The player with the single game with the highest eliminations (eliminations between games do not accumulate) will walk away the champion for the night.
Main tournament
Each Player will be matched up with an opponent and queue together as a Duo (OC does a Duo tournament, so players will be matched in squads). Placement does not matter, the objective is to get more eliminations than your opponent in each game. Competitors will play two games, and the player with the higher combined score from the two games, advances in the bracket. A player is not allowed to obstruct their duo partner in any way. Tournament officials can review game replay files if necessary, and tournament officials can decide if a match needs to be either replayed or forfeited.
Tie Breaker
If both players are tied in kills after 2 games, a third game will be played. The player that gets 5 kills first, wins the tiebreaker and the match. If neither player gets 5 kills, then the player with the highest kills wins. If the players are still tied in the third game then a fourth tiebreaker game will be played with the same rules. This is repeated until a winner is determined.
