Method Rush: A Leap Through Time

Prize Pool Breakdown

There will be a Minimum of $2500 (USD) and 15 Million Gold up for grabs! (For players and public!)

$2000 will be contributed towards the Top 3 highest placed teams (by points) on the leader board.

1. 1ST PLACE: $1000 of total cash prize
2. 2ND PLACE: $600 of total cash prize
3. 3RD PLACE: $400 of total cash prize

$500 and 12 Million Gold will be contributed towards the Bounties.

25% of the Total Bounty Prize Money & 3M Gold to each team to claim that claims the following bounties!

1. Bounty 1: Be the first to time the highest keystone in Eye of Azshara.
2. Bounty 2: Be the first to time the highest keystone in Court of Stars.
3. Bounty 3: Be the first to time the highest keystone in Darkheart Thicket.
4. Bounty 4: Be the first to time the highest keystone level (1 winner).

Crowdfunding

We are excited to be offering the generous community the opportunity to support the players directly by enabling crowdfunding for this event! Fans can show their support to their favourite teams directly as 100% of the money that is crowdfunded through Matcherino will go towards increasing the bounty portion of the Prize Pool!

All money crowdfunded by the public for this event will go EXCLUSIVELY towards the prize pool of the bounties!

The winner will be announced on Twitter in the week following the events completion.

Team Compositions

Each dungeon team must comprise of a minimum of 5 players, with a maximum of 6. Each team must have 5 players participating in each dungeon. The 1 player who is not in the main composition is eligible to swap into the team to change composition in between dungeons.

Teams unable to field a team of 5 players when it comes time to play will forfeit.

Dungeon teams are not permitted to have more than 1 "Healer" role and 1 "Tank" role on each team during play.

"Spec Stacking" is not permitted.

For example: Guardian Druid, Holy Priest, Destruction Warlock, Destruction Warlock, Destruction Warlock IS NOT permitted.

Guardian Druid, Holy Priest, Destruction Warlock, Affliction Warlock, Demonology Warlock IS permitted.

By signing up to this tournament and participating, you acknowledge that it is a requirement that at least ONE member of each team that is participating in a dungeon run MUST be streaming to Twitch.TV. Players will be required to submit any available Twitch Channel links as a step of the signup process. You also agree that you are willing to provide Method the rights to re-stream your Twitch Feed on twitch.tv/method.

Gameplay Ruling

• Players are permitted to swap players / change characters as many times as they would like in between dungeons.
• Players are required to be "checked in" via the Method Rush Discord server at least 30 minutes prior to the Method Rush: A Leap Through Time event is due to begin each day.
• Players who choose to ignore, or attempt to go against any instructions provided by the Admin Team may be penalized.
• Players are not permitted to use any "known bugs or exploits" that may provide a team an edge in their performances. If this occurs, a time penalty / disqualification from the event may be used to penalize based on the severity of the action at the discretion of the Admin Team.

Tie Breaking

If at the end of the event that teams are tied for their overall score, the following tier breakers will be used. The order of which the tie breakers will be used, will be in the following order (if one tie breaker doesn't break the tie, we will move on to the next on the list):

Tie Breaker 1; The team with the highest timed keystone completed wins (e.g., a team with a timed 25 & 23 would beat a team with 24 & 24).

Tie Breaker 2; The team with the lowest total time once tallied up from all completed Keystones.

Tie Breaker 3; The teams will play a "head-to-head" match on a map that either:

1. Both teams have a keystone available (at the highest keystone level).
2. Keystones are to be down levelled to level that will be decided by the event organizers (both teams must have the same keystone).

Tie Breaker 4; The team that achieved the points first, wins.

4. Eye of Azshara
5. Neltharion's Lair
6. Vault of the Wardens

Characters & Realm

Method Rush takes place on Live Shadowlands servers.

Players are expected to use their own characters for this tournament, of which the characters must be on the same Battle.net account as the account you have signed up with on Matcherino. If you run into an issue and own more than one battle.net account and would require to use both during this tournament, please reach out to a tournament event organiser or admin and we can work on resolving the issue.

Behavioural:

All players are expected to be respectful towards one another and towards tournament staff and administrators at all times.

All players should act with good etiquette. Use of extreme profanity, racial slurs, sexist comments amongst other negative behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from the tournament.

Penalties:

Penalties may be given to players who breach any of the rules stated, including, but not limited to rules stated in the Official Terms & Conditions of Blizzard Entertainment.

This tournament is held under the Rules set by Blizzard Entertainment. Any breach of the rules that would cause Blizzard to take action against your account that will impact your ability to participate in this tournament will immediately result in a disqualification from this event.
