<h1><u>RIVAL CUP SEPTEMBER QUALIFIERS</u></h1><p>IMPORTANT NOTES:</p><ol><li>This tournament is Asia-Pacific only and will be played on an APAC server. Admins reserve the right to investigate, and disqualify any teams that are not from the Asia-Pacific region.</li><li>You <strong>MUST join the Discord server (</strong>https://discord.gg/rivalesportshq) to be able to contact admins for help during the tournament. All tournament announcements will go through Discord.</li><li>Disconnecting during the draft will result in an immediate set loss for the team whose player disconnected.</li><li>Check-in opens 1 HOUR before the start of the tournament. You will have 45 minutes to check-in. Brackets will be released shortly after.</li></ol><p><br></p><h2><u>Eligibility</u></h2><p><br></p><ol><li>This tournament is open to participants from the Asia Pacific region. Players competing from other regions will be disqualified.</li><li>Teams which have members that have participated in non-Asia Pacific tournaments are liable for disqualification.</li><li>Players must be 16+ years old to participate.</li></ol><p><br></p><h2><u>Check In / Start Time</u></h2><p><br></p><p>The tournament begins at <u>6:00 PM JST on September 20th</u>. Check in begins at <u>5:00 PM JST </u>and runs until <u>5:45 PM JST</u>. You must check in during this time.</p><p><br></p><h2><u>Match Readiness</u></h2><p><br></p><p>Teams must ready for each match. Teams taking longer than 10 minutes to ready will be disqualified.</p><p><br></p><h2><u>Format</u></h2><p><br></p><p>Single elimination. Matches will be played Best of 3 sets.</p><p><br></p><p>Sets will be played Best of 3 games. The map for each set will be selected at random from its respective pool, as follows:</p><p>The map pool will generally follow the current competitive rotation of maps. Please notify an admin if you notice any issues with the map pool!</p><ul><li>Brawl Ball: Center Stage, Pinball Dreams, Sneaky Fields</li><li>Hot Zone: Dueling Beetles, Open Business, Ring of Fire</li><li>Gem Grab: Hardrock Mine, Double Swoosh, Last Stop</li><li>Heist: Kaboom Canyon, Safe Zone, Bridge Too Far</li><li>Bounty: Shooting Star, Canal Grande, Snake Prairie</li><li>Knockout: Belle&#39;s Rock, Out in the Open, Goldarm Gulch</li></ul><p><br></p><h2><u>Prizing</u></h2><p><br></p><p>The prize will be split 60/40 between the 1st and 2nd place teams.</p><p><br></p><p>The base prize pool will be:</p><p>1st Place - $120</p><p>2nd Place - $80</p><p><br></p><h2>The winning team will also qualify to play in the Rival Cup Finals, with the other 7 invited teams.
