Tournament Format & Rules

It will be a double elimination bracket with each series being a best of 3 except Grand Finals which will be a best of 5. All games will be played on PC. Controllers are allowed.

All 3v3 games will be played with the following rules:

Arena: DFH Stadium

Team Size: 3v3

Bot Difficulty: No Bots

Mutators: None

Match Time: 5 Minutes

If the competing teams are at the same location, they can set up a LAN game. If the players are competing from different locations, they will play online. The higher seeded team will host the lobby. The lobby info will be provided for you by a staff member. Please wait to choose a team until all the players are waiting in the lobby. The higher seeded team will choose blue side and the lower seeded team will take orange.

Start Time and Registration:

Please register before the tournament start time and be present at your location at least 10 minutes before the tournament starts. Tournament start times will be strictly enforced to ensure the tournament can finish on time. If you registered for the tournament but are not present to play your match within 5 minutes of the start time, you will receive a DQ for that game. Players can have a 5-minute break in between games, and again must be present at the end of the 5-minute break to start their game or receive a DQ.

Computer Issues:

In the case of game crashes or other computer-related problems, call over a staff member so they can help resolve the problem. At the time of the issue, the player needs to note what the in-game time was at, and the score. If the competing teams are from the same location, they can start a LAN new match, inputting the remaining time in the game as it was at the time of the issue. If the competing teams are from different locations, and playing online, they need to start a new match and wait until the clock hits the same in-game time as when the issue occurred. The scores before the issue will be added to the scores from the remainder of the restarted game.
