Kings of the North is back! The North&#39;s favourite StarCraft II tournament series goes into its third season, promising bigger and better entertainment for its fans as we surpass previous seasons. Last season we launched an indiegogo to help grow the event and the response was exciting. We have received your feedback and have put together another campaign to give our beloved community the opportunity to shape the outcome of our story. Thanks to our partners, Kings of the North has a base prize pool of $5 000. It doesn&#39;t have to stop there; with the community&#39;s support, we can grow the experience for both the players and the fans. To get the full event info check out the event page. The GoalOur core goal is to make Kings of the North Season 3 bigger and better by providing player support. This means assisting with travel costs, increasing the live event talent pool, and providing you the viewer more content about the players. FAQWhat happened to the &#39;homestory cup&#39; feel of Season 2? TL&#39;DR:  Wanted to give KotN a different flavour, something closer to its roots. Longer answer: KotN was born from a Toronto regional tournament called TorCraft which fostered the Toronto local LAN community. Though we stopped running TorCraft, we didn&#39;t forget the community built from it. Season 3&#39;s format pays closer homage to the good old days by including the open LAN bracket leading into the championship added the same weekend. What if I can&#39;t afford to donate? There are many ways you can help out that don’t cost money. Simply share the event, or watch it live on twitch.tv/eschampYou can always send us a tweet or join our discord channel to join the community and share in the passion. These are definitely the best ways to brighten our day.  :) What if we hit funding goals while the event is taking place? If funding goals are met during the live event, the proceeds will be split 50/50 going towards event expenses, but most importantly, the player’s prize pools. Will I be able to get the perks/merchandise at the event? Perks and merch will be exclusive to our backers; however, we might have something special in sight for those who pop up for the fun.
