The winning duo on Saturday from each location will be invited to compete on Sunday against the other arenas. The duo that comes out on top on Sunday will be entered into a Code Red Tournament!

Tournament Format & Rules:

Each duo will be matched up with another and queue together as a squad.

Competitors will play two games, and the duo with the higher combined score from the two games, advances in the bracket.

Placement does not matter, the objective is to get more eliminations than your opponent in each game.

Tournament officials can review game replay files if necessary, and tournament officials can decide if a match needs to be either replayed or forfeited.

Tie Breaker: If both duos are tied in kills after 2 games, a third game will be played. The duo that gets 5 kills first, wins the tiebreaker and the match. If neither duo gets 5 kills, then the duo with the highest kills wins. If the duos are still tied in the third game then a fourth tiebreaker game will be played with the same rules. This is repeated until a winner is determined.

Avoid Dropping with your Opponent:

  • - For Game 1, while the players are in the loading lobby, the higher seeded duo needs to mark on the map where they will drop. The lower seeded duo then marks on the map where they will drop, and it needs to be in a different area than the first duo.
  • - As a rule-of-thumb for how far apart the players should drop: if the first duo chooses to land in Tilted Towers, the second duo should land further away than Loot Lake, or Shifty Shafts, but as a courtesy, try to land on different halves of the map.
  • - For Game 2, the lower seeded duo will choose their landing spot first.
  • If both duos agree before the match, they may drop closer, or even within the same location.
  • - After the initial drop and after the first circle is closing, it is legal for players to move to the same area as their opponent.

No Sabotage:

  • - Do not destroy opponent's builds. This will result in a deduction of 1 elimination from your score (-1 point)
  • - No running over opponent with vehicles (-1 point)
  • - No stealing opponent’s loot. The player that gets the elimination (the person who knocked the enemy player) has rights to the defeated player’s loot. (-1 point)
  • - No walling in opponents
  • - No stealing vehicles. A player that gets into a vehicle first, owns that vehicle. Even if the player gets out of the vehicle, you may not take it. Only if the player gets into a 2nd vehicle is it clearly established that you may now take the first vehicle.

Player Responsibility:

  • - It is a player's responsibility to call any form of misconduct in their matches.
  • - All players must have replays on
  • - Players must stay in after they die to spectate opponent
  • - Players must keep calm level mindset. I.E. No: aggressive attitude, slurs, threats, bullying, forms of aggression that can be viewed as hostile. Penalties may range from a verbal warning to disqualification, and will be determined by the staff based on the situation.

Cheating/Hacking & Glitches:

Any players found exploiting glitches or cheating in game will forfeit the match, and may even be disqualified from the tournament (offense will be determined based on what happened).

Examples:

  • - Out of bounds god mode
  • - Wall hacks
  • - Exploiting getting under the map
  • - Invincibility
  • - Aim botting
  • - Players giving you kills/loot from friends list
  • - Throwing/giving your opponent the win

Additional Rules:

  • - Can not kill players that are AFK from bus (Penalty: kills will not count)
  • - Refusal to listen to tournament organizers/employees (1st offense: warning strike. 2nd offense: loss of match)
  • - No Stretched Resolution (Penalty: loss of match)
