- Stage Selection: We encourage Random Select for Stages (by using the ?randomstage command); however, if both players mutually agree on a specific map, they are free to choose it.

- Reselection: Losers are allowed to switch Character and Assist or Map; winners must stick with their choices.

- Connection: Wired ethernet is recommended; however, Wi-Fi is allowed. If the match is close/borderline unplayable both players must do a connection test, player with the worst internet connection loses the set. Test connections with: https://www.speedtest.net

- Game Ownership: Participants must own MHOJ2.

- Winner's Reprieve: The current tournament winner will be ineligible to participate in the next tournament (Not including the one they Won). This temporary break aims to diversify winners. After the designated period, the player is welcome to rejoin the tournaments.

- Bans:

- Shinso assist is banned.

- Cheerleader outfits are banned.

- The Guard cancel i-frame glitch is banned.

- The Mirio Q1 store glitch is banned.

- While Mirio's infinite permeability (from grab interactions) isn't grounds for disqualification, if unintentionally triggered, the match will be reset.
