Beyond Limits Tournament Rules:

• Discord: You must be a member of the Magales Discord Server to participate in the tournaments.

• Platform: The Beyond Limits Tournaments are played on PlayStation (PSN), and sometimes on PC (Steam). Make sure to check which console the tournament is being run on, and ensure you have access to that console (PS4, PS5, or PC) to participate.

• Timer: 99 seconds

• Rounds: 2

• Sidekicks: ON

• Matches Format: Initially, all matches are Best of 3 (FT2). As we progress to Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals, the format shifts to Best of 5 (FT3).

• Legal Stages:

1. Former Nomu Hanger Site
2. Hosu City Urban District (Day and Night)
3. League of Villains Rendezvous
4. Secret Base (Day and Night)
5. The Beast's Forest (Day and Night)
6. U.A. Arena
7. U.A. High School - Gym Gamma
8. U.A. High School Classroom

• Stage Selection: We encourage Random Select for Stages (by using the "?randomstage" command); however, if both players mutually agree on a specific map, they are free to choose it.

• Reselection: Losers are allowed to switch Character and Assist or Map; winners must stick with their choices.

• Connection: A wired Ethernet connection is highly recommended; however, Wi-Fi is allowed. If the match is close to or borderline unplayable, both players can opt to use Parsec (playing on a Washington DC Shadow). However, if one of the players doesn't have a computer, a connection test must be done. The player with the worse internet connection loses the set. Test connections with: Speedtest.net. Also, Tournament Organizers (TOs) can decline your Lag Test Request (Thug it out or take the L).

• Game Ownership: Participants must own MHOJ2.

• Streaming Requirement: All participants must have the capability to stream their gameplay (via PlayStation, Twitch, YouTube, or through Discord).

• Bans:

1. Shinso assist is banned.
2. Cheerleader outfits are banned.
3. The Guard cancel i-frame glitch is banned.
4. The Mirio Q1 store glitch is banned.
5. Untextured costumes, arm parts, body parts, leg parts, head parts, face parts, and neck parts are banned (Images of untextured characters).
6. While Mirio's infinite permeability (from grab interactions) isn't grounds for disqualification, if unintentionally triggered, the match will be reset.
