Battle For The Bag #27 EAST

1. BFTB EAST is open to all players located in

US: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia

CAN: Quebec, Eastern Ontario, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia

2. The tournament is open to all hardware but a wired connection is mandatory to participate. If excessive lag is reported we may ask both participants to do a speed and connection test to determine if one is at fault. This is a last resort action that we do not wish to employ. Please be understanding that online SFV can have connection issues and only file a grievance as a last resort if a match is close and the connection is not playable. To report an issue please @AoPurp and @JDee2046 in The Brojo channel of the AoPurp Discord. Speed and ping tests should be accessed via the below links.

3. Players must be available to be contacted via Discord 15 minutes prior to start time and for the full duration of the tournament. In order to eliminate delays we ask that players are prompt to report for their matches. TO's can ping players for their matches if requested. We ask that if you request to be pinged you keep Discord and SFV open at all times to avoid delays. Pings will be made via @ in The Brojo channel of the AoPurp Discord. Please ensure your notification settings allow you to receive these messages.

4. Battle For The Bag is double elimination. Matches are all FT2 with the exception of Winners Finals/Losers Finals/Grand Finals which are FT3. We will announce what games/rounds are played on stream and which are off stream at the start of the tournament. https://www.twitch.tv/aopurp.

5. There are certain costumes and stages that are not tournament legal. Please review the below Google doc to ensure an appropriate stage and costume is selected.

6. Our most important rule is no toxicity. We all get tilted and salty playing fighting games but we want to create a welcoming environment for players of all levels. If you lose via gimmick or the connection isn't perfect it's all good, we've all been there. We ask that you don't vent those frustrations in Discord or stream chat.
