Overview

The Elitist Raiding Party (ERP) is the premiere PvE event in Guild Wars 2, 6 renowed teams will meet on the fields of benchmarks and fight for dominance! 

Only one winner can be crowned the most toxic, delusional and elitist in all of Tyria and the only way to do that is by live speedrunning raid wings head to head - each round is a best of one on a random raid wing; with all hard modes enabled of course! 

As an added challenge the downstate will not be permitted during the event ensuring that the tournament will be a truly brutal experience for all those involved! With no chance to revive players during raid encounters the difficulty for players and tension for viewers wil significantly enhanced, to the point where we may see some unusual strategies and compositions just to deal with it!

That brings us to Matcherino; the previous ERPs have been funded by myself, ArenaNet and the fantastic support of the Guild Wars 2 community in the forms of truly absurd amounts of in game currency, but this time around the stakes are being raised once again - through Matcherino.

Matcherino is the perfect platform to crowdfund the biggest Guild Wars 2 community event of all time - combining community support and sponsorship into one.  

Prizing

Prizing is divided into two categories; real money and in game currency. Real money prizing will be distributed between first and second place at a ratio of 75% to 25% whereas in game currency (Gold and Gems - [cash shop currency]) will be split 60%, 25% 15% with first, second and third respectively.

• Gold: 200000

• Gems: 36000

Tournament Structure

The bracket is a straightforward double elimination round of 8, each match will take place on a single raid wing in the form of a best of three, the final is a best of five. The final will take place on the four latest raid wings in Guild Wars 2: Wings 4, 5, 6 and 7 the winner of the upper bracket finalist picks an additional wing from either 1, 2 or 3 and their choice will be played first.

Seeding is randomised.
