Deck Submission

Deck submission will be via a Google Forms link, that players can edit as many times as they link before the deadline (9pm GMT on Fridays). Deck lists will be posted in the ILH Events discord each week (Open Format). Players will be given the chance to submit a new deadline each week, using a new deck submission form. If you do not submit a new lineup, you will be given your previous weeks lineup to use. If you do not submit a decklist for Week 1, you will receive an automatic round loss.

Format

All games will be Best of Five Conquest format.

Swiss

• In Swiss format, you play a number of rounds determined by the number of players. You play in all of these rounds, you are not out of the tournament after a loss.
• Each round, you will be matched up against someone with the same score as you, unless there is no one available, then the most appropriate opponent will be found.
• Players will organise a suitable time to play with their opponent each round. A time is expected to be agreed upon within the first 24 hours after the round is seeded. Any issues should be brought to the admins attention IMMEDIATELY!
• This tournament is hosted on Matcherino, but the bracket will be hosted on Battlefy. Once you have signed up here and paid the entry fee, the admins will give you access to the Battlefy version to be seeded in the bracket. You must be signed up on both tournament pages to play in this event.
• Tiebreakers will be decided using the HCT Tiebreaker System, which is explained here. Battlefy works out tiebreakers automatically.
• Games may be streamed on our Twitch Channel each week depending on times and availability.
• The Top 8 players at the end of the Swiss portion will be seeded into a Single Elimination Top 8 bracket.

Single Elimination

• The top 8 players from the Swiss portion will be seeded into a Top 8 Single Elimination Conquest bracket.
• A win will progress a player closer to the finals, while a loss will drop a player from the bracket.
• The single elimination bracket will take place on the last week of the tournament. Any scheduling issues should be brought to the attention of the Admins as soon as possible.
• Games may be streamed on our Twitch Channel each week depending on times and availability.

Nerfs, Buffs, and New Cards

In the event of an update being released in Hearthstone that results in new cards being available for play in Standard mode, the goal will be to NOT delay the tournament, and to continue playing as scheduled. With deck submission being due Friday evening, and the usual time for game updates being Tuesday evening, this should give players enough time to practice with new cards and submit a lineup using these new cards. If deemed necessary by Admins, the deck submission can be pushed back by a day to Saturday evening, or in extreme cases ​by 1 week, but these will be decided on a case-by-case basis, and the default response will be to not delay the event.

Prizing

Prizing will be distributed to the Top 4 players as follows:

• 1st place: 50% of total prize pool
• 2nd place: 25% of total prize pool
• Joint 3rd/4th place: 12.5% of total prize pool each

General

• Join the Discord so we can contact you and you can contact Admins: https://discord.gg/SCsTj6b
• We have no problems with you streaming the Tournament, we actively encourage this! We do recommend the use of a 5-10 min delay to eliminate the (small) chance of stream sniping, but this is not a requirement.
• Prizes will be sent out within 1 week of the conclusion of the event. Your winnings will be deposited into your Matcherino wallet, and can be withdrawn via PayPal or Bank transfer (please contact the admins if there are any issues with the collection of your prize).
• Please be aware that Matcherino charges 4% on cash withdrawn and PayPal assess its own fees on all transactions through its platform. Due to the current crisis in Ukraine, residents of Russia may experience difficulty collecting their winnings.
