• Please Note: The spot on Clocktower known as the "Invincible Spot" (By Sniper) is illegal to use. This counts on both sides. Any team found guilty of using that location will forfeit that map. The "Invincible Spot" is the location on Clocktower that, when crouched, makes it impossible to be shot.

HOSTING/REGION

In Gears Ultimate Edition, the host is able the choose the server the game is played on. As this is a multi-region tournament, please use the hosting rules below to determine server.

The higher seeded team is the team on top in the bracket.

• NA VS NA - US East or US West

The higher seeded team hosts first map and lower seed has choice of faction. This will alternate each map. If a tiebreaker map is needed, the most rounds won in the previous maps will determine who hosts. If there is a tie in rounds the higher seeded team will host.

• NA VS LATAM - US East, US West, LATAM

The higher seeded team hosts first map and lower seed has choice of faction. This will alternate each map. If a tiebreaker map is needed, the most rounds won in the previous maps will determine who hosts. If there is a tie in rounds the higher seeded team will host.

• NA VS EU - US East

EU will get choice of faction for first map. NA will host. Faction choice will alternate each map. All games to be played on US East server.

• LATAM VS EU - US East

The higher seeded team will have choice of faction first. Faction choice will alternate each map. All games to be played on US East server.

• LATAM VS LATAM - Latam

The higher seeded team hosts first map and lower seed has choice of faction. This will alternate each map. If a tiebreaker map is needed, the most rounds won in the previous maps will determine who hosts. If there is a tie in rounds the higher seeded team will host.

• NA VS NA - US East or US West

The higher seeded team hosts first map and lower seed has choice of faction. This will alternate each map. If a tiebreaker map is needed, the most rounds won in the previous maps will determine who hosts. If there is a tie in rounds the higher seeded team will host.

• EU VS EU - Europe

The higher seeded team hosts first map and lower seed has choice of faction. This will alternate each map. If a tiebreaker map is needed, the most rounds won in the previous maps will determine who hosts. If there is a tie in rounds the higher seeded team will host.

CHARACTER RESTRICTIONS

Each team may only have:

• One iteration of any character on the team at a time
• One female character at a time
• One Kantus character at a time

STREAMING

Players will be allowed to stream their tournament matches up until the OFFICIAL live stream goes live at https://www.twitch.tv/naturallawgg

Once we go live, apply the following rules:

Streaming any tournament match is prohibited. Any player that streams an official match using any live stream platform (Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Kick etc.) will be subject to a DQ.

We reserve the right to stream any match and players must allow broadcasters and staff to join their game. We also reserve the right to enter any Xbox Live party or communication program (Skype, Discord, etc.) in order to do “listen ins” for the duration of the tournament.
