<ul><li>The top 8 players from last year’s SMO Any% Pro League will be invited automatically</li><li>The remaining slots will be filled by inviting top players from the SMO Any% Open</li><li>Category rules will mirror those on <a href="https://www.speedrun.com/sm64?h=70_Star-N64&amp;x=7dgrrxk4-e8m7em86.9qj7z0oq" rel="nofollow">Speedrun.com</a></li><li>In the first phase of the tournament, players will be split into two groups. Each player will play each other within their group in a round robin format.</li><li>The top 8 players will move on to a single elimination playoffs bracket</li><li>Races will be 1v1 no reset format. Best of one. Finals will be a best of 3</li><li>In the event of extremely close races, runs will be retimed. In the event of an exact frame tie, the race will be replayed</li><li>Top 8 placements in this year’s league will auto qualify back into the league next year</li></ul>
