‣ Format
• Stream Team Battle X is a 5 vs 5, First to 15 Team Exhibition played across 5 skill Divisions.
• STBX is a relay race format, meaning the points from the previous set are passed to the next division.
• Once a team hits 15 points, they are declared the winner. This can happen even if the final set isn't over!
• If the final set is played and a team is yet to hit 15 points, a bonus set is played in a random Division until a team hits 15.
First to 15 Exhibition: First 4 sets are FT3, last set is FT5.
If a team hits 15 before the end of the last set, the team wins right away!
If neither team hits 15 by the end of the last set, an additional random set is played called the Critical Division, and that set is a FT5 or until a team hits 15. If neither team hits 15 after the FT5 then the wheel is spun again!
Perfects take a point away from the opposing team!!
Each team has one Charge, activated by typing !charge right here in this channel.
What is Charge? The Charge turns the next game into a double or nothing, giving you 2 points for a win, and -1 for a loss. It can be used anytime between games. (now available in all divisions!)
Both teams are only allowed 1 character switch for the whole event! This can be taken before the set begins or if you lose a game during the set. If a player switches again after someone already changed characters or that original player changes back then the team will lose a point.
As you all likely know, we have a mic hooked up in here for appropriate times in the exhibition and we love to hear your reactions and strategy!
