Open schedule (each match scheduled depending on team’s availabilities)
Global tournament using flo hostbosts (so no complaining about lags we’ll make the best of the situation)

Solo maps: Northern Isles, Last Refuge, Terenas Stand LV, Concealed Hill, Autumn Leaves, Tide Hunters, Amazonia.
2on2 maps: Lost Temple, Turtle Rock, Twisted Meadows, Goldshire, Gnoll Wood, Tidewater Glades LV, Hillsbrad Creek.
Players will let me know before hand who plays the first solo in each match.

If the score is 3-0 match is over. If score is 2-1 the team that won the 2on2 decides which match happens next between
Match 4 ThorzaiN vs MichaeL or Starshaped vs ToD
Match 5 last remaining one
Ideally 8 teams (16 players) but depending on interest/signups there could be up to 16 teams (32players) spread out across 4 groups
8 teams= 2 groups of 4 teams each GSL format double bracket. 2 teams advance per group to semi finals where #1 plays vs #2 from the other group
(A team needs to win 4 matches to win the tournament)
16 teams= 4groups of teams each GSL format double bracket. 2 teams advance per group to quarter finals where #1 plays vs #2 from another group.
(A team needs to win 5 matches to win the tournament)
The goal is to start the tournament ~February 22nd and have it finished within a month. Most matches should be played avoiding major broadcast of tournaments and players are encouraged to stream their games if they want to, i will try and cast as much of it as possible.
I will focus on organizing & casting so i won't be playing myself.
Minimum league requirement on w3c to apply: Diamond 1 in solo

If we go above 16 teams i will host a qualifier between all the lowest ranked teams ELO wise for the spots into the tournament

Map Pool is subject to change before the tournament starts it will written here once it is definitive.
Hosts used per match will be the same as W3C would select when those region meet, so best way to figure out which one to use is to go through your game listing and checking which one was automatically selected when you faced an opponent from that specific region.
It is allowed to keep switching race throughout the tournament.
If you plan on playing another race than your main race you must disclose it before the vetoes begin and say which race you will play on each map.
