Stages, Sides and Characters

* Players can request a blind pick of characters for the first match

* Neutral stage select for first match: Three-Way Deadlock, Chuunin Exam Finals, Final Valley, Tenchi Bridge or Uchiha Hideout.

* Winner keeps current character

* Loser picks stage or character, not both; if loser picks character, stage returns to neutral

* If players cannot agree upon a random stage, you will play on Three Way Deadlock.

Match Format

* 90 second time limit.

* Damage setting 2.

* Dog and Karasu are banned.

Etiquette

* Pauses - if a player either intentionally or accidentally pauses the game, the player who paused loses the round (one kunai). Exceptions include when your opponent selected a stage when it was your turn to pick, when a banned stage is accidentally selected, after a super has killed (to avoid Oro 5X drain for example), or when excessive lag that consistently keeps the game under 60fps has been introduced and must be remedied.

* Restarts - the TO may approve a game restart due to exceptional circumstances, such as a power outages, Dolphin issues, major lag, etc.

* Intentionally triggering a game-crashing bug or intangible freeze glitch (one that makes a character unable to move nor be hit indefinitely) will result in a game loss (3/5 kunai).

* Stalling is not allowed. For 3MC, stalling by continually hitting a dead opponent after reaching full meter is not allowed and will result in a game loss. Do not complain about character tools as if they're "stalling" tools. Example: Itachi jA on the bridge is not stalling. It's neutral.

* You must select a character within 60 seconds after returning to a character select screen.

In the event of an action that causes consternation for one or more participants, the tournament organizer will weigh in and make a ruling. These situations are rare.

* You cannot enter under pseudonyms. In this context, a pseudonym is a name you create or borrow in order to ensure opponents do not know who they're playing. Examples including creating "alt" smash.gg and Discord names as well as "borrowing" screennames from others.

* WiFi is not allowed and results in automatic DQ.

Your computer must be able to run the game at 60fps. If it cannot, you will be disqualified. In situations where it normally runs the game at 60fps but you're encountering technical issues, you must go to tech support to resolve. If you're unable to resolve, you're disqualified.

* If connections are deemed unplayable/unstable, you may be asked to complete a packet loss test at https://packetlosstest.com/ and submit the result to LeeShmow. This data will be used to determine what actions to take.

* Computer difficulty will be kept at 2. This is to ensure that Naruto's clone has a higher chance of actively attempting to attack the opponent.

If you do not respond to your opponent within 15 minutes after being DM'd and pinged in the Discord, you will be DQ'd.

* Check-in occurs 60 minutes before tournament in the Discord channel #open-tournaments.

Match calls are made in the Discord channel #open-tournaments.

* Only check-ins that occur in the Discord will be recognized.
