Characters & Realm

Method Mayhem takes place on Live Dragonflight servers.

Players are expected to use their own characters for this tournament, of which the characters must be on the same Battle.net account as the account you have signed up with. If you run into an issue and own more than one battle.net account and would require to use both during this tournament, please reach out to a tournament event organizer or admin and we can work on resolving the issue.

Match Rules and Workflows

This event will operate with the following workflow when communicating map selections between teams. The communication will occur in the designated match discord chat channel in the official Method Mayhem Discord server.

For Bo3

Team A Ban - Team B Ban - Team A Pick - Team B Pick - Team A Ban - Team B Ban - The last map in the pool is then the "decider".

For Bo5

Team A Ban - Team B Ban - Team A Pick - Team B Pick - Team A Pick - Team B Pick - The last map in the pool is then the "decider".

The order that the maps will be played will be the order they occur in the pick and ban communication between the two team captains.

The lower seeded team of the two teams competing against one another, will be the first to select in the pick and ban.

Seeding never changes throughout the event.

Each match has a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

If a match reaches this timer, the match will be deemed a tie and will be treated as such.

In the scenario where a tie occurs the following workflow will come into play:

Tie Break #1 - The last map played, will be replayed.

Tie Break #2 - If there is no clear winner after Tie Break #1, Tie Break #2 kicks in and the team with the most damage dealt will be determined the winner.

If a member of one of the competing teams is experiencing technical issues, connection issues or anything that will deem them unable to play after entering the battleground, the respected team mates on the entire team must leave the battleground before the gates of the battleground open. Failure to do so will result in the match resuming and the result of the match counting towards the series results.

It is forbidden to use a player during the event that is not a registered member of your team, failure to comply will result in a penalization such as a re-match, series forfeit or disqualification from the entire event. The penalization will be distributed at the discretion of the tournament administration.
