Devil May Cry 1 Any% Speedrun Tournament 2023
This is the annual Devil May Cry Any% Speedrun Tournament presented by DMC Speedruns
This year the event will be a single elimination bracket consisting of a first round of 4 way races, where the top 2 will proceed onto 1v1 single attempt speedrun races, then the players will continue across the bracket in best of one races until the grand finals which will be a best of 3 race
The category for these races will be any% normal, all runs must be done on the normal difficulty but there are no other restrictions
Rules:
-Single elimination
-All standard rules for Any% apply
-Matches of 4-way races will have two winners each, and seeding will proceed according to each's placement (i.e. coming first in a 4-way is better than coming second).
-Matches where both/all runners are PC will be decided by LRT, which must be shown on runner's feed at all times
-Matches where all runners are a mix of PC and console (or both/all are console) will be decided by RTA
-Milliseconds will be used for LRT as the first barrier of tiebreaks. After this, matches will have ties broken by prioritization of RTA and IGT respectively
-Grand Finals will be best of 3 runs.

Match 1 (~1:30pm): Slickford, Zetta, Figgmack, Muty
Match 2 (~2:30pm): Dan, FI3RY, Yang, ISH
Match 3(~3:30pm): Sefiro, Waifu, Flennils, Vynn
Match 4 (~4:30pm): (2nd places of match 2 and 3)
Match 5 (~5:30pm): (1st place of match 3 and 2nd place of match 1)
and that wraps up the 16th
the 17th we do Semi-Finals 1 (~12:30pm): (1st place of match 1 and winner of match 4)
Semi-Finals 2 (~1:30pm): (1st place of match 2 and winner of match 5)
3rd Place Match (~2:30pm): (losers of SF1 and SF2)
Grand Finals (~3:30pm): winners of SF1 and SF2)
