Proxy Tempest NA Open #96
The Proxy Tempest Open is played on the Americas server every Thursday night at 8pm EST!
Players receive the cash prizes listed below, as well as any money added to the prize pool here!
- 1st: $15 + 40 OSC pts.
- 2nd: $10 + 15 OSC pts.
- 3rd-4th: 10 OSC pts.
- 5th-8th: 5 OSC pts.
- Check in starts 30 minutes before the tournament. If you do not check in, you will be disqualified.
- Players will have 15 minutes to begin their match from the first time that both players are available. If a player does not respond within the allotted 15 minutes, their opponent will be awarded a walkover.
- This tournament is open to any player of any skill level. - Join the group "Proxy Tempest" in-game chat on the NA server to find your admins, casters, and opponents.
- The tournament is BO3 format until the finals, which are a BO5. - The maps will be picked using the ABAB format used in WCS. The higher seed bans first (A). The lower seed bans next (B). The bans continue until only three maps remain. The higher seeded player then picks the first map, and the lower seeded player picks the second map. (ABAB ABC)
- Laddering or playing other tournaments during this tournament IS ALLOWED! That does not mean we can wait on your other matches to finish to continue here. If your opponent has to wait for 15mins, or if every other part of the bracket is ahead of you, your opponent will be given a walkover.
- Games will be played on whichever server both players agree to. In the event an agreement cannot be reached, games must be played on the US Central server. If you are playing your games in another region, please make admin aware before switching servers.
- ALL of these rules, as always, are at the current admin's discretion.
