Now with hundreds of players across North America -- as well as Europe and Oceania -- playing this amazing retro title, we wanted to celebrate where we&#39;ve come as a scene.What better way to do this than to bring out the best to the event that brings us full circle?This year, as part of our festivities that have brought Sailor Moon from side tournament to main lineup of Canada Cup 2018, we are bringing out the Japanese godfather of Sailor Moon S, Koushun to compete in Sailor Moon S, as well as two other games he is competitive in -- Guilty Gear Xrd Rev. 2 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. This will mark the first time that Japan&#39;s best and North America&#39;s best will compete head to head in Sailor Moon.Many of you have seen Koushun&#39;s tech videos, which he has self-translated for western audiences so that we can learn the tech that Japan has had in Sailor Moon for decades. Now you get to learn from the master himself.Doing this, however, is a huge financial undertaking. With airfare and lodging alone, this will take about $2500 USD in order to do so. That&#39;s where we need your help.We are opening this matcherino to offset the costs of bringing Koushun to Toronto. We will also be featuring some Sailor Moon-esque incentives to give back to you for helping us out.Any and all funds you give are appreciated, and will go toward the funding of his trip to Toronto. Any extra will be used for setups and maintenance of setups as needed to keep the Toronto scene running!
