CTWC Vietnam 2024
CTWC Vietnam 2024, formerly Classic Tetris Vietnam Championship, is the fourth annual national championship of the game Tetris (NES, 1989) hosted by the Classic Tetris Vietnam Staff Team.
For the first time in history, the tournament will be recognized as an official CTWC Regional Event.
The tournament is hosted to promote the Classic Tetris community in Vietnam, a chance for local players to nurture their skills in a competitive environment, and also to find who truly is the best Classic Tetris player in Vietnam, earning a Qualifying spot at the World Championships.

Please note that the Prize Pool here will be collected by a representative of the Staff Team, in order to convert to the local currency (VND) and combine with our locally-funded prize pool. The entire process will be supervised by all the players and a neutral observer to ensure all of the Prize Pool is distributed in accordance to the Rulebook. The process will also be publicized and confirmed by the players after finishing.
Qualifying: One 60-minute session, average of two best scores. Top six players automatically advances to Groups. If there are more than eight qualifiers, places 7-14 compete in Play-ins.
Play-ins (optional, only if more than eight qualifiers): Players are divided into one or two groups based on how many players qualify for Play-ins. All players in a group play Single Round Robin, all best-of-three matches to compete for the final two spots in Groups.
Groups: Eight players are drawn into two groups of four players. Each group plays a GSL Double-Elimination format. All matches are best-of-five series. The group winners and runners-up advance to the Knockouts.
Knockouts/Finals Night: Four players are seeded into a Single-Elimination, winner-takes-all bracket. The winner of Finals Night will be declared CTWC Vietnam 2024 Champion.

At the time of adding this goal, 132.18USD = 3,333,333.33VND. We at TetrisVietnam believe in the power of the number 3, hence the number (check our biggest Stretch Goal to learn why). This will surely help boost players' morale, especially the blahaj lovers!
This would reach the $50 goal to pay every single one of our members in the Staff Team, who have all worked very hard to produce this wonderful tournament for you to see!
There is a legend within the Tetris Vietnam named DCG, who regardless of his role within any given thing, would finish third. We still do not understand why, how, what, when, who? In any ways, him and the number 3 have been forever immortalized within the TVN community. Hence the number.
