About
Join us for the NA Battle Event #3! This time around, I'll be hosting a single-elimination tournament with BO3 rounds with 8 very strong North American players we have up and coming in the talent pipeline. The purpose of these events is to grow the North American scene and to drive competition to encourage newer faces to rise and grow.
The 8 invited players are:
- Gypsy
- Lumire
- G5
- Castle
- Yaj
- Jiraiya
- Rlentless
- Herbmon
The casting will be done by Jaeyun & Nyoken on the following days:
- Oct 10th 4:00pm PDT - Day 1
- Oct 12th 4:00pm PDT - Day 2

Rules
This is a community-event so we expect full support from the invited players and the willingness to reasonably work out any issues as they come.
- This format is a Single-Elimination bracket with all rounds being best of 3, with the exception of the grand finals, which will be BO5
- The map pool will be Circuit Breakers, Jade, Tau Cross, Polaris Rhapsody, and Aztec.
- All maps will start on Circuit Breakers - then the winner of each game will ban a map from the pool with the loser choosing the following map. Maps cannot be replayed. The grand finals will not have a map ban for the winner.
- Race-picking is allowed, but you must predetermine your race to play for the entire set (you may not change races during a set against an opponent). If two players cannot decide on a matchup, an admin will flip a coin to determine it
- Default turn rate will be dynamic. Players can change the turn-rate if they both agree.
- Any disconnects/technical failures will be handled at the discretion of the admin
The prize pool will be crowd-funded and sponsored by Matcherino and will be split as follows:
- 65% will go towards 1st Place
- 25% will go towards 2nd Place
- 10% will go towards funding graphic designer fees
