$5 venue
$5 to enter Doubles tournament (goes directly to Doubles prize pool)
$5 to enter Singles tournament (goes directly to Singles prize pool)

Doubles tournament start: 5:30 pm
Singles tournament start: 7:00 pm

Rewards

Each night, the doubles and singles tournament will be competing for a prize pool based on the number of entrants ($5 per player).

Tournament Format & Rules

Standard double elimination bracket play Best 2 out of 3 games for preliminary matches. Best 3 out of 5 games for winners, losers, and grand finals. If there are 4 players or less, round robin format will be used instead of bracket play.

Mii Fighters: legal

Starter Stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Kalos League, Smashville, Pokemon Stadium 2

Counterpick Stages: Town & City, Yoshi’s Island (brawl)

Standard Smash tournament rules apply. No pausing during a match. Failing to show up for your match on time may result in a forfeit. Tournament officials are the final authority on disputes.

Esports Arena Oakland no longer does Super Smash Thursdays. They do however have Smash tournaments on Wednesday and Friday nights. If you are looking for a Smash tournament on Thursday in the area, Esports Arena Roseville is the closest location.
