ZeroSpace.gg is thrilled to annouce a sister tournament to Starlance's NextFest Masters tournament, ZSGG NextFest STING!
STING (Standard Tournament Involving No Gimmicks) is our tournament series that we put forward whenever we have a lot of new players to ZeroSpace, or when the community needs a palette cleanse from our regular gimmicky bullshit.
As referenced above, Starlance is running a tournament for the top 8 players on the ladder for NextFest. We're running a tournament for everyone else.
This means: If you intend to compete for the NextFest Masters, you should not compete in our tournament.
Prize pool
There will be an initial prize pool of 200$, but any donations made on this page will go to increase it further.
The split will be the following:
- 1st: 50%
- 2nd: 25%
- top4: 25% (12.5% each)
Format
The tournament is a Single-Elimination tournament this time. We expect enough players to make a double-elimination tournament too long.
Best of X
- finals: Bo7
- semifinals/top 4: Bo5
- quarterfinals/top 8: Bo3
- top 16/32/64: Bo3
- further: Bo1
Best X of picks
In this order 3 things need to be decided:
- match host
- map pick
- race and mercenary choice
The loser of the first match will have the choice between hosting and choosing his race and mercenaries second (giving the other to the winner), and will pick the map.
For the first match of the round a coin toss will decide who gets to choose between hosting and picking race and mercenaries and gets the map pick.
Allowed
In case of a game disrupting bug or exploit, the tournament organizers reserve the rights to change what can be allowed during the tournament.

All the 1v1 maps are allowed.
Races
All the race are allowed.
Mercenaries
All the mercenaries are allowed.
Heroes
All the heroes are allowed.
