Crystal Cup #2 Rules
1. Tournament Format
Crystal Cup #2 is a team-based bracket tournament.
The organizer has final authority over bracket structure, scheduling, match order, disputes, and any situations not covered by these rules.
2. Team Creation
All members of a team must be registered on start.gg.
A team for this event consists of 3 active members, with a maximum of 2 alternates, for a total team size of up to 5 players.
Teams may substitute players in and out as they please, including between games during an active set. This means a team may unbench an alternate between games within the same match.
3. Match Structure
Matches are played as either Best of 3 or Best of 5.
- Best of 3: first team to win 2 games wins the match.
- Best of 5: first team to win 3 games wins the match.
Best of 5 will be used for:
- Winners Finals
- Losers Finals
- Grand Finals
All other matches are Best of 3 unless otherwise announced.
4. Room Creation
The highest-seeded team must create the room.
For bracket matches, the highest seed is the team shown in the upper portion of the bracket.
Both teams are responsible for making sure the correct rules are selected before the game starts. This can be checked on the final screen before starting the game.
- Official Rules must be turned on.
- If the wrong rules are selected, the game must be restarted before the boss spawns.
- If the game is played to its conclusion under the wrong rules, the result still counts.
- Both teams are responsible for ensuring the match is played with the correct official rules.
