Please welcome our newest addition of non-standard rules Warcraft 3 cups with the arrival of <a href="https://challonge.com/newhorizons_1" target="new" rel="nofollow">New Horizons Cup #1</a>! In this new format, we are using standard heroes and rules, but we only play on non-standard &amp; as of now, also still non-ladder maps! My admin team did a great job to select 7 amazing new 1on1 and 2on2 maps for this series. Date/Time The cup will be played on two days: Early Rounds and Quarterfinals in BO1 Modus:   6th of May from 19:00 CET.Semifinals and Grand Finals in BO3 Modus:         7th of May from 19:00 CET. The official stream will be on  <a href="https://www.twitch.tv/towertak3r" target="new" style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size: 14px;" rel="nofollow">twitch.tv/towertak3r</a> Prizepool We have set up this Matcherino page to gather donations for a 200$ goal, which will go 100% to the winner team of the cup. If we go beyond the 200$, we will use the extra money to do a 75% / 25% split with the second place getting a small portion as well, while the winner gets the 200$ as a minimum! At the same time, I hope everyone can understand that the pool might be lower as well as its completely depending on the donations on Matcherino. Format The New Horizons Cup will be a team competition with teams of two players. There are a couple of things to keep note of: - When entering the Cup on <a href="https://challonge.com/newhorizons_1" target="new" rel="nofollow">Challonge</a>, you need to use the following format for your team name:                    Team Name ( Player Name / Player Name )   This format is important as it will determine who you will face in the 1on1. - Early Rounds and Quarterfinals are played in BO1 Modus. In those rounds, the two 1v1s will be played at the same time. In case of each Team winning one, the 2on2 will decide who will move to the next round. The starting maps are pre-defined in the <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1sgKe0cj3MheHwSKojbnYZ6Rx4yfsl_uLE7JTOwwCGbQ/edit" target="new" rel="nofollow">Rulebook</a>.  The player mentioned first in the team name plays his 1v1 against the player mentioned second of his opponent team. - Semifinals and Finals will be played in BO3 Modus. The total amount of mapwins count, so in theory there could be a 4:4, in which case we will play a final BO1 1v1 on a randomly drawn map. The map will be drawn live on the stream and the winner of that map wins the Match. - Please don&#39;t forget to contact us in the <a href="https://discord.gg/zycwusR" target="new" style="font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" rel="nofollow">Discord channel</a> in case you want to stream this! We allow players to stream their own games and non-English speaking casters to cast in their language, but only if the Cup logo is used on stream! You can find it in the #streamer-overlay-image Discord channel. - Only the following non-standard maps will be used. Some of them include new mechanics like boats or falling bridges, which need to be triggered by hitting a rune with a splash damage type of unit like Catapult. This opens up for new game dynamics and I can&#39;t wait to see how the players will adept to the new situation! Signing up on Matcherino will not grant you access to the cup, you have to check-in on the Challonge page. Casting If you are a caster and would like to cast in any other language than English, please note that this is possible if you will use the transparent cup banner. If you are a player and would like to cast your games, you are free to do so as long as you use the transparent cup banner image provided in the official  <a href="https://discord.gg/zycwusR" target="new" style="" rel="nofollow">Discord channel</a>.  We will not use any stream delay and hope that everyone plays fair and does not stream snipe!
