UK Warcraft III League
UK Warcraft III League
The league is open to all players with a connection to the UK or Ireland. Such a connection may be through, for example, nationality or residence.
The league will consist of two divisions, with 8 players in each division. In each division, two groups of 4 players will face off in double elimination groups, with the top 4 advancing to single elimination play offs.

Prizepool:
Minimum $140 (~ £100), Maximum $322 (~£230).
Division 1:
1. $70 (Max $140)
2. $42 (Max $84)
3-4. $14 (Max $28)
Division 2:
Division 2 prizepool starts only if $140 funding is exceeded.

All prizemoney is raised & paid out via matcherino.
Dates:
Played during March, one group of each division will be played each week, with the finals scheduled over a weekend.
Group Stage:
Week commencing 8th of March: Groups A
Week commencing 15th of March: Groups B
Playoffs:
Weekend of the 27th & 28th of March.

There are 9 maps.
For BO3: Vetoes ABBAAB, then pick AB, remaining map played for third game.
For BO5: Vetoes ABBA, then pick ABBA, remaining map played for fifth game.
Player A is named higher in the grid.
In the grand final, A & B will be randomised.
Before the vetoes and picks for a series are made, each player must declare the race they will play for the whole series.
Server: W3Champions EU North or EU Central 2 preferred, Bnet acceptable. Otherwise by agreement of players.
Admins: Hipposaur, Embermate
Streaming: Every player is permitted to stream their own games. External streamers are also permitted, but asked to let the admin team know first.
Top 16 players will be placed into divisions by W3Champions MMR.(If a player has fewer than 25 games on W3Champions in the current season, previous seasons will be taken into account & the admins will determine the placing of a player)
If more than 8 but fewer than 12 player apply, there will be no division 2.
If more than 12 but fewer than 16 players apply, division 2 may be changed to round robin groups.
The admin team reserve the right to eliminate players from the competition for unsportsmanlike behaviour (such players forfeit any prize monies).
