Unity Monthly 5v5 Tournament EU

Detailed Rules and Regulations: *Teams in 1st and 2nd place must be registered on Matcherino in the participants section in order to receive prizing.* NOTE: If the tournament is held on NA/EU servers you MUST have an EU or NA account to participate in that regions Tournament. TOURNAMENT START TIME: EU - 2pm BST/3pm CEST (NA - 6am Pacific/9am East Coast) Pls Note, Battlefy Tournament start time should be local to your region. Checkin: Checkin begins 1 hour before the tournament start (1pm BST). Teams must check into the tournament to grant them a guaranteed spot in the 32 team bracket. If a registered team for the tournament is a no show the next registered team will take their spot. Matches will take place on a set pool of maps from Forest of Niflhel, Legacy of the Foefire, Battle of Kyhlo, Temple of the SIlent Storm, Skyhammer (Only in Final). The map pool will rotate per round and can be seen further in the rules. Best of 1 matches will always be played on Forest of Niflhel Team Rosters - Submitted 5 man rosters MUST contain all five players names AND IGN (i.e. jebro.9999). This is to assure that we can reach you in game and issue any ingame prizing related to the tournament. - 5 man rosters may add one sub - Subs can only be assigned for an entire series and NOT be swapped in and out between games within a series. - Players may only participate on one team throughout the tournament, this includes subs. - Roster changes MUST be made before checkin. If there are any issues with rosters at the start of checkin please contact an admin in the discord server. Tournament Structure Map Rotations - All best of 1 matches will be Forest of Niflhel Winners Bracket: - Round of 32 - Forest of Niflhel - legacy of the Foefire - Battle of Khylo - Round of 16 - Battle of Khylo - Temple of the Silent Storm - Legacy of the FoeFire - Round of 8 - Temple of the Silent Storm - Forest of Niflhel - Battle of Khylo - Semi Final - Legacy of the Foefire - Battle of Khylo - Forest of Niflhel - Final - Forest of Niflhel - Legacy of the Foefire - Temple of the Silent Storm Lower Bracket: - Best of 1 maps matches will be Forest of Niflhel until the lower bracket final - Final - Forest of Niflhel - Legacy of the Foefire - Temple of the Silent Storm Grand Final: - TBC - Map Pick Phase Team A (Winner Bracket) VS Team B (lower Bracket) Team A starts the series 1-0 Team A Pick Map Team B Pick Map Team A Pick Map Team B Pick Map *Map Picks for Grand Finals will include: Skyhammer, Forest of Niflhel, Temple of the Silent Storm, Legacy of the Foefire, Battle of Khylo* In Game - You are NOT allowed to swap classes during a match, you're only allowed to swap between matches. - Respect - Players are expected to be respectful and courteous to their fellow competitors and administrators. Any excessive vulgarity or bad-mannered communicated through any chat the administrators can see may result in a player/team being penalized. - NO Class stacking - If a player on the losing team calls "gg" at any point of the match, it will be taken as admission of defeat and the match will be ended, awarding victory to the opposing team. Admins reserve the right to ignore this rule at any time it appears logical to do so. - Substitutions - Each team may substitute one player per tournament. Prizing will be distributed to the final roster after the substitution. - Players will have five minutes between maps to change builds and discuss strategy. After five minutes, the match will be force started. - Team captains must screenshot the end scoreboard as a backup to support match results if proof is needed. Player DC/Lag If a player from the leading team disconnect within the first 4 minutes they will be offered a restart. If a player, no matter the score, disconnects within the first two minutes they will be offered a restart. Keep in mind that each team is only able to get one restart for every series. - Re-Match Teams can agree to a rematch if they feel it is the best way to resolve any technical issues that occurred during that game. Illegal Actions Any actions that result in an unfair advantage are illegal. This includes bug abuse of any kind. Unity reserve the right to add exceptions ON THE DAY OF the tournament if any current game changing bugs have been found. In this case, banned traits, utilities etc may be put into play. - Leaving the Match If a team leaves the match before the remaining time, this team forfeits the match and may be punished in terms of future participation in Unity tournaments. - Spectators Only people who have been given permission by Unity admins are allowed to join the match as a spectator. Any casters or admins wishing to access the arena must be allowed to do so by any team supplying an Arena for the tournament. - No Shows Please report any no shows to an admin. Admin details for the tournament will be provided to your captain and can be easily found on discord. NOTE: Admins will be in Arenas to begin the games. - Adding New Players No players are allowed to be added after Tournament starts. Subs must be presented before the Tournament begins on the roster on battlefy. Any late changes to the roster or issues with roster changes should be reported to an admin in the discord server. - Disqualification Admins & managers reserve the right to disqualify ANY teams that are felt to be cheating/manipulating matches. This may include: DDOS attempts, using banned traits/utilities/abilities, delaying matches, abusive behaviour and anything deemed untoward. - Gem Prizes (IF applicable to the tournament) Subject to the team size (16) Gem prizing will be allocated to players. An admin will contact you IN GAME after the tournament has been completed. 1st, 2k Gems per player. 2nd 800 gems per player. Servers (If Needed) NOTE: Server Settings IF you are supplying an arena. Password: Yes Spectator: allowed Lock Gear No progression Lock skills Ready up - button Score: 500 Time limit: 15 minutes Respawn: Individual Respawn time: 15 seconds Team Size: 5 Servers/Arenas If teams are supplying an Arena, they are responsible for the correct settings and map rotations. We can advise on the day or before if assistance is needed. Unity will endeavor to supply all arenas. 5v5 Map Pool: Legacy of the Foefire, Temple of the Silent Storm, Forest of Niflhel, Battle of Khylo & Skyhammer. Free Agents - Free agent signups MUST report to the Free Agent channel on Discord 1 hour before Tournament Start Time. This is to enable us to form a team for you and assign you with a discord channel. - Free Agents must use the Unity Gaming Org Discord Voice channel which is assigned to their team. - Please remember that you are forming a team with others you may not have played with previously and respect the composition which has been assigned. Any feedback regarding team assignment can be forwarded to the Admin or managerial team. *Unity Gaming Org reserve the right to adjust rules leading up to the event*
