It's free to register for any team of 10 players. The final 6 teams are selected by which has accumulated the most donations to The Red Cross by the end of September 29th. Please hit the 'CONTRIBUTE" button on the page and 100% put the team name in the comment area. The first 6 teams to register will receive a $50 nomination from G Fuel. If teams have the same nomination amount they'll be selected based on chronological order.

With record temperatures, powerful storms, devastating wildfires and other disasters and extreme weather events on the rise, so is the need to better prepare and respond to with disaster relief for those impacted.

By donating, you'll be helping provide lifechanging support to local families and individuals impacted in this challenging year of back-to-back disasters and help better prepare communities across the country for future disasters and extreme weather events.

A gift of any size will help support the urgent needs of the American Red Cross mission and helps make a lifesaving difference.

A $10 donation can help provide a meal to someone in need, $20 helps provide a full day of food, and $50 helps provide a full day of food and shelter in the wake of a disaster.

Even as little as $5 helps provide a disaster relief comfort kit, a facemask and hand sanitizer to someone in need.

Rules

6 teams of 10 players (with 3 additional alternate players as subs).

Each series will be best 2 out of 3 until the Grand Finals where it will be a best 3 out of 5. Each series will begin on Warsong Gulch, and the loser picks next map.

Map choices:

1 - Silvershard Mines

2 - Arathi Basin

3 - Temple of Kotmogu

4 - Battle for Gilneas

5 - Twin Peaks

6 - Eye of the Storm

The tournament will be done in double elimination format.

Player check-in starts one hour before the tournament (1:00pm PST).

Players are allowed to swap classes throughout this tournament after each map is chosen.

Use of the Hallow's End Magic Broom or any toy will not be allowed in this tournament to ensure fair gameplay in line with the design intent of the battlegrounds. As well players are not allowed to use mechanics that would allow them to exit starting areas prior to the opening of gates at the beginning of games. Use of invisible walls and platforms to gain access above the designed structure spaces is also disallowed. These actions will result in the disqualification of the player.

If at any point matcherino staff believes a team has exploited any unfair advantage, matcherino reserves the right to disqualify that team's game and/or entire tournament standing.

In the "spirit of fair play" warning/rule some examples like: using toys to gain an advantage (like dropping orbs on ToK), exploiting the insta-ressurect bug to avoid the spirit healer timer, taking any action that hinders or network disables a player in the battleground, any other intentional action or repeated unintentional action that gives a team an unfair advantage will result in forfeiture of the match and likely a ban from the tournament.
