<h3>Format:</h3>⮞ Game: Minecraft Java 1.16.1.⮞ Tournament format: <a href="https://challonge.com/minecraftkoth6/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Double Elimination</a> (4 Players)⮞ Mod: <a href="https://www.method.gg/minecraft" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Method Tournament Mod</a> <h3>Prize pool distribution:</h3><ul><li>1st - $600 </li><li>2nd - $200</li><li>3rd - $100</li><li>4th - $100</li></ul> Successfully defending your KotH title earns you an additional $500. <h3>Tournament Overview:</h3>⮞ Players will check in one hour ahead of time to let tournament staff know they&#39;re good to play.⮞ At approximately 17:00 CEST a timer will be initiated on the mod within Minecraft.<ul><li>The names of the players in the upcoming match will be displayed.</li><li>The notes for the Seed will be displayed.</li></ul>⮞ Appropriate players will be in there ready to start.⮞ Approximately 5 minutes after previous match finished, the timer for the next match will begin.⮞ Timers might be not there/short/longer depending on where we are in the event, players are expected to keep track and an eye on the countdown/stream. ⮞ Participants can always ‘Restart’ a seed using the in-game button, as shown on the mod page.⮞ There is a 40 minute cut-off time per game.<ul><li>If both players DNF (did not finish) at the 40 minute mark it counts as a win for both players.</li><li>If it’s 1-0, that means 2-1 and the first player wins. If it’s 0-0, that means it’s 1-1 and the next match wins the series.</li><li>In case of double DNF whoever at any given point got closest to the Enderdragon wins the series.</li></ul>⮞ All matches are determined by the RTA times handled by the Mod.⮞ A rematch may on occur if a player finds themselves unable to continue play.
