Classic Tetris World Championship 2022
The Classic Tetris World Championship (CTWC) is a yearly competition that started in 2010. We use the 1989 version of the game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. We have players from all around the world that compete to see who is the best. The event is taking place from Oct 14-16 at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo.
Our goal is to get $25,000 in addition to the $10,000 generously provided by the Tetris Company, for a total of $35,000 in prizes with $10k going to the champion. Boom! Tetris for you.
Final Prize Goals:
Champion = $10,000
Runner-up = $5500
Top 4 = $2750
Top 8 = $1500
Top 16 = $500
Top 32 = $150
Top 48 = $100
