Vulcan Cup Masters Weekly #14

Vulcan Cup is a global year-long circuit based on ESL Pro Tour which provides a variety of highly-competitive events every season for players up to High EU Masters and Low NA Grandmaster level (5300 MMR).

Vulcan Cup was previously known as Legion Cup from 2019 to August 2022.

Legion Cup was initially created as a small in-house tournament organized and sponsored by Team Legion so that team members could play against one another in a competitive environment.

With the success of the Opening Cup, the organizers decided to expand the tournament to allow a select few of other StarCraft 2 teams to participate. Legion Cup soon evolved into a WCS/GSL style tournament for lower level players to provide the opportunity to partake in events similar to other major and premier tournaments.

In 2021, Legion Cup created its first-ever Masters Circuit which brought together tournaments like The NA Contender, Berserker Masters League and Magikarp Masters Cup along with Legion Cup to contribute to a year-long circuit.

In 2022, Legion Cup rebranded to Vulcan Cup with PSISTORM Gaming replacing Team Legion's as the tournament sponsor as well as a new focus on a slightly higher level competitive scene accompanied by fun miscellaneous events.
