Qualification Stage

The qualification stage of the Mythic+ Keystone Builders Tournament will take place off-broadcast from 9AM (PT) on April 17th to 9AM (PT) on April 22nd. All dungeons run during this stage will take place on live servers.

The qualification stage of the tournament will require each team to submit one keystone building run, with a total time of 3 hours. To complete this, the team will need to start with a +2 keystone and complete the consecutive keys within the 3 hour timeframe. If a run is started before the 3 hour limit ends, competitors are allowed to finish the run but may not start any new dungeons. Competitors are permitted to continue a run after the 3 hour time allowance so long as it was started before the end of the time. This extra time permits up to 15 minutes of additional key-running, after this time the longer runs will not count for any points.

At least two competitors per team will be required to either stream or provide a VOD of the entire duration of a keystone being built. The competitor streaming is required to be the keyholder of each group, and must show the keys being placed into the holder for each run.

The Top 12 ranking teams from the qualification stage will be invited to compete live on broadcast in the Finals.

Finals Stage

The Top 12 ranking teams from the qualification stage will be divided into one of three groups as follows:

Group A - 1st Placement, 4th Placement, 7th Placement, 10th Placement

Group B - 2nd Placement, 5th Placement, 8th Placement, 11th Placement

Group C - 3rd Placement, 6th Placement, 9th Placement, 12th Placement

On Day 1 (April 28), Group A teams will compete. Each team will have 3 hours to ‘build’ their key through the ladder provided by tournament administration to earn as many points as possible.

On Day 2 (April 29), Group B teams will compete. Each team will have 3 hours to ‘build’ their key through the ladder provided by tournament administration to earn as many points as possible.

On Day 3 (April 30), Group C teams will compete. Each team will have 3 hours to ‘build’ their key through the ladder provided by tournament administration to earn as many points as possible.

On the day of the tournament, teams will be provided with a ‘ladder’ of keys. At the start of the day - 10AM (PT), the +2 dungeon will be revealed to all competitors. Once this key has been completed, each team will be assigned the same dungeon map for the level of the key they have built. The dungeon map will be revealed once the previous key has been completed.

Ex: The +2 dungeon provided could be Halls of Valor. If a team completes this dungeon with a 3-chest timer, then the next dungeon map will be set to a +5 [dungeon map]. If a team completes this dungeon with a 2-chest or 1-chest timer, the the next dungeon map will be set to a +4 [dungeon map] or +3 [dungeon map] accordingly. Each team within a group will have the same order of dungeon maps to progress through, but each group will have a different ladder of dungeon progression that will provide an equivalent opportunity for points.

Broadcast & Game Capture

Similar to during the Qualification Stage, at least two competitor of each team will be required to stream or provide video input of gameplay during the Tournament Broadcast for our team to use as an input source.
