I WILL NOT ACCOMODATE FOR MULTIPLE TOURNAMENT ENTIRES. IF YOU HOLD UP THE BRACKET BECAUSE OF ANOTHER TOURNAMENT, YOU'RE OUT.
BE AVAILABLE. If you leave your opponent hanging, you can be disqualified.
What if my match is unbearably laggy?
Stop your set, and contact a TO. We'll have you run the command ping 8.8.8.8 -n 100 in your command prompt. Wait for the 100 pings to finish. You'll receive a report that will look like this:
Ping statistics for 8.8.8.8:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 100, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 7ms, Maximum = 22ms, Average = 11ms
If your report comes back poor, we'll have a run a second test, this time with the command ping 8.8.8.8 -n 100
If someone is dropping multiple packets, or has an extremely high ping for fighting games, they will be disqualified if it cannot be remedied by resetting their modem. If you abuse lag requests multiple times during a tournament and no evidence of such lag comes to light, you will be removed from the bracket.
If there's no evidence of either party experiencing lag in the reports, please play through it, or DQ yourself if you find it that intolerable.
In the event of a desync, replay the game, and replicate the round count to the point prior to the desync issue. You can tell if a desync has truly occurred, as both users in the lobby will be given a gold "1W" streak next to their name when the match is over.
HOW DO I GET MAH MONEY?
We'll be processing all the payments through our Matcherino page! We don't have access to these funds ourselves, as they are crowdfunded, so you MUST be on Matcherino to receive your winnings! From there, we will payout! Money will be sent to your Matcherino account!
If you need to figure out how to cash out from the Matcherino site, to your PayPal account, follow the steps listed in the link below!
