Champion Monthly #3

Welcome to Champion Monthly for May 2023 (Previously Champion of the Server)

The tournamet will be held on our discord server https://discord.gg/QRd5zJTw6p. So join the comunity and fight for your life.

The tournament starts on the [DATE] at 19:00 CEST (Check in starts at 18:00)

We invite each and every one of you to participate in our server tournamet and fight for the price of atleast 1000 SEK (about 100€). Donations are open and any money recieved will go directly to the price pool.

Details:

- All sets are played BO5 (first to win three games) including grand finals.

- Participants are responsible for providing a good and stable internet connection. Since we are a north european tournament your connection must be reliable to participants in this region. We reserve the right to evaluate connection quality on per player basis if neccesary in a network test before the tournament starts if you decide to participate from a region outside of scandinavia.  

If your connection comes into question during the tournament, the issue may be investigated and can lead to disqualification.

- Find each other in the discord channel #matchmaking or via DMs and play your sets in the park or in a player match room.

- Some matches will be streamed on twitch so we will provide a room number for the contestants to join. These contestants will be alerted before hand to join so keep a look out for that.

- Grand finals are played as a standard double elimination. I.E: The winner of losers finals must win two sets vs the winner of winners finals while the winner of winners finals only have to win one one set.

- Prize money are payed out immediately after the tournament has ended, preferably via Swish but bank transfer is also possible. If you do not have a swedish bank account you are required to provide an IBAN number or paypal account information. (International money transfers can take up to a week to arrive depending on the circumstances)

- There will most likely be technical difficulties. If the problems are so severe that you can not complete a set. Contact me and we will figure something out.

- The winner of a set is responsible to report the result on the Challonge website. I trust that each of you are honest people. If there are any disputes regarding the final results of a set: contact me and we will settle it with both parties.

 - If there are any problems with the tournament website (Challonge). Contact me and I can most likely handle any issue.

- Play games, have fun and be nice to each other. That’s the most important rule <3
