Partners and above can apply for Magic: The Gathering Arena gem codes as additional prizing for winners of their events.

Tournament Brackets

Partners have access to Single Eliminations, Double Elimination, and Swiss Brackets.

Event Crowdfunding

Organizers can receive event contributions or sell items to fundraise.

Event Payouts

Secure and transparent payouts to winners which can be withdrawn through PayPal or to a bank account, tax compliant!

Tournament Overlay

Events have their own overlay that can be used with streaming software to display the prize pool, contribution alerts, or tournament information automatically.

Charity Events

Organizers can partner their events with a charity and raise money for that charity without fees.

What is this program?

Our partnership with Wizards of the Coast allows organizers to run events using the full suite of Matcherino’s platform while also providing gems to their player base once they qualify as an organizer.

What is the goal of the program?

Our goal is to provide a support system for Magic: The Gathering Arena’s grassroots scene.

We hope to help grassroots organizers grow their events and run tournaments easily and consistently.

What does Matcherino do?

Matcherino is a community events platform designed to help organizers run and monetize their events as efficiently as possible.

We offer operational tools like entry fees, bracketing and prize distribution, as well as tools to help increase prizing and event funding like crowdfunding, e-commerce and “SponsorQuests™”.

Additionally, this partnership will allow organizers who have qualified to offer Gem codes to their winners.

How do players join my events?

Players are walked through all requirements when they attempt to join your events.

Optional requirements may include password entry, custom form questions, and Discord joins.

Can I require players join my Discord server?

Yes! Using our custom entry forms, organizers may provide a link to their Discord server and our system will verify players have joined before allowing them into the tournament.

Players may also send messages and request admin assistance using the Call Admin button from directly within their bracket match, no Discord needed!

Can I use prize pool funds to cover costs?

Unfortunately not. Prize pool funds are strictly reserved for the winners of the event. Misappropriation will result in these funds being frozen and immediate expulsion from the program.
