The Stormgate Nexus 1

General Rules:

• Players invited or qualified through the Asia + OCE, EMEA, or Americas qualifiers can play

• Map pool: Ladder

• Replays should be sent via Discord to admins 

Prize Pool: Minimum $2000, funded by Herenya Capital Advisors and Matcherino

        • 1st: 40%

          • 2nd: 20%

          • 3rd/4th: 10% Each

          • 5th-8th: 5% Each

Format: 

         • Single elimination

         • Bo3 Ro16, Bo5 Ro8+Ro4, Bo7 Finals

         • Server: Fairest on admin discretion

         • Matches may be played on other servers only if there is mutual consent.

Veto Process:

         • Player on top in the bracket is A

         • Bo3: AB ABABC

• Bo5: AB ABABC

         • Bo7: ABABABC

Other Rules:

         • Check in begins one hour before the tournament starts. If players don't check in, they will be disqualified.

         • Players may claim a walkover win if their opponent doesn't show up within 15 minutes. Contact an Admin on discord in order to claim the walkover.

         • The discord channel is the player's primary method of commnication

         • If a draw happens for whatever reason, then that game must be played again on the same map.

         • Players may stream their own games, but if they decide to, then they acknowledge the risks associated with doing so. Also, players reserve the right to decline any non-official caster who wishes to stream/observe their matches.

         • No barcodes

         • Race switching mid-series is allowed.

         • No unauthorized casters, if you would like to cover the event contact BeoMulf

         • No cheating/hacking of any form is tolerated. Any offenders will be removed from the bracket and banned from future events.

         • Excessive BM/toxicity is not tolerated as well. Should any players experience this in-game, send a screenshot to the admin via Discord and if they determine the evidence is enough, the offending player will be removed from the bracket.

         • If you reach the finals and are unable to play, you will be replaced by your opponent from the previous series and will automatically forfeit that series. (This only applies if the conflict is known before the start of the tournament.)
