Americas 4v4 Spring Cup 2021
Americas 4v4 Spring Cup 2021 is one of the four seasonal cups which are hold quarterly. It is open to players from all around the world and is proudly organised and presented by Americas Battle League which has the proclaimed goal of being the world premier Warcraft 3 Reforged 4v4 league.
Requirements:
- Each team must have a minimum of 4 players registered.
- Each team can have only a maximum of 6 players registered.
Registration:
- Please register yourself and your teammates in this order below with the first player being the team captain:

- To edit/remove/add player name after registration:
Click on "Team Settings" and then proceed to edit/add/remove player name.
- To edit Challonge Team Name:
Click
on the profile drop down arrow on the top right hand corner of the page
and scroll down to "Teams" and choose the team that you had signed up
with then proceed to edit your Challonge Team Name on the next page.

Group Stage:
- Weekly Round Robin format
- Last for 7 weeks.
- 2 groups of 8 teams
- Participants face each other 1 time
- All matches in the Group Stage are a best of 5
- Top 4 teams from each group to enter Final Stage
Final Stage:
- Weekly Single Elimination format
- Last for 4 weeks.
- Quarter-Final matches are a best of 5
- Semi-Final matches are a best of 5
- Third Place match is a best of 7
- Championship match is a best of 7

Vetoes, Picks and Starting Map Process:
Best of 5:
- The top team on the bracket is Team A and the bottom team on the bracket is Team B.
- The team captain will represent their team.
- Veto: A/B/A/B/A/B (each team captain take turns to veto 3 maps)
- Pick: A/B/A/B (each team captain take turns to pick 2 maps - first picked map and second picked map)
- The last remaining map is the starting map.
- The losing team's picked map will be played for each subsequent game until a winner is determined.
Best of 7:
- The top team on the bracket is Team A and the bottom team on the bracket is Team B.
- The team captain will represent their team.

In the event of a Disconnection:
- If there is a player disconnection in the game, the remaining players of that team must declare their intention for a rematch by immediately pausing the game and then requesting for a rematch.
- If a rematch request is granted by the opponent, the game will be re-hosted.
- If a rematch request is not granted by the opponent, the game will continue.
- The game will continue if there is no immediate pause by the remaining players of that team.
- In the scenario that multiple players disconnect together at the same time due to battlenet server glitch, the game replay will be brought to the organising committee and a decision will be made base on internal voting.

Tournament Rules and Regulations:
- All tournament participants must install W3Champions (https://www.w3champions.com) to prepare for the release of the custom Host Bots client (release date delayed indefinitely).
- Flexible match timing is only allowed on Friday and Saturday from Friday 12am EST to Saturday 11.59pm EST (strictly).
- For flexible match timing, it has to be discussed and mutually agreed by both team captains (strictly).
- For flexible match timing, the team captains are to notify the league's referees or organisers of their mutually agreed match timing latest by Thursday 10pm EST on every playing week. Failure to comply will result in penalties, the severity of which will be determined by the league committee.
- For flexible match timing, if both team captains are
unable to come to an agreement on the match timing, the match will be
played on the default timing which is Saturday 4pm EST. (strictly)
- Brackets on Challonge are not final until check-in stage has passed with all teams processed and finalised.

All tournament participants are to refresh their browsers to check the
updated brackets on Challonge once the tournament organisers had
declared the tournament as "started" or "in progress".
- All
participants are to log into Americas Battlenet server and meet at the
W3Champions channel "4 vs 4" (not the Bnet launcher group or discord
group) in order to utilize the W3Champions Host Bots client when it is
release (release date delayed indefinitely).
- The team captains are to start the "vetoes, picks and starting map process" among themselves accordingly to the laid out rules.
- All tournament
players will have to host their own games under the Americas Battlenet
server until the release of W3Champions Host Bots client (release date
delayed indefinitely).
- All tournament maps as stated under the map pool must be official Blizzard 4v4 ladder maps.
- Official Blizzard 4v4 ladder maps under the map pool with W3Champions edited zoom function are allowed.
- All anonymous maps (maps without showing player names) or any other altered maps (examples: items drop changed, creep camps changed, terrains changed or gold mines changed) are not allowed in the tournament. (strictly)
- There will be tournament referees and organisers on standby to help out if needed.
- No public and other tournament players (including the 2 reserves from each team) are allowed to observe game (strictly).
- Only referees, organisers, official live streamers from Americas Battle League and sponsors are allowed to observe all tournament games (they will declare their status upon entering).
- Tournament participants who are casting their own games are advise to delay their live streaming by 3 minutes to avoid stream sniping from opponents.
- No general chats are allowed by observers in the game due to live streaming.
- The winning team to report score on challonge website and provide replays in the discord channel.
- Once a team has checked-in, the team is locked in and confirmed for the entire tournament. There will be no player switching, replacement, removal or addition allowed after that.
- All teams must strictly
follow the schedule as shown on Challonge and are not allowed to skip or
jump matches. Any team that breaks this rule will be disqualified from
the tournament immediately. (strictly)
- If a team has 5 or 6 players registered, the team captain is allow to freely change his team starting lineup before each game commences.
- Any team which is late for 15 minutes or more for their respective matches will be forfeited and considered a loss.
- If a team is not ready to play, the team will be forfeited for that week and the winner will be accorded to their respective opponent.
- The referee's decision is final. Any appeal must be made directly to any of the organisers.
- Basic mannerism must be observed at all times. Anyone found guilty of any of the below offences will be dropped from the tournament immediately (strictly):
* Racist remarks.
* Offensive language.
* Vulgarity.
* Cursing.
* Swearing.
* Flaming.
* Team killing.
* Disrespect to any of the tournament participants, referees, organisers, sponsors and live streamers.
* Abuse of sudden pausing in the game especially in the scenario of hero killing with last hit/spell.
* Hacking or cheating of any kind.
* Stream sniping.
* Smurfing.
* Impostering.
