IBL 1v1 Spring Cup 2021, Season 2
IBL 1v1 Cup, Season 2: is our second formal 1v1 tournament. It is open to players from all around the world and is proudly organised and presented by International Battle League (IBL).
Requirements:
- Each player must have W3Champions downloaded for the event.
- You must include your battlenet account and tag in registration so we can contact you.
- You must join our discord channel and enter the 1v1 tournament roster on the side sub channels. Please just type in your battlenet account here so we connect your BNET to discord and contact you accordingly. https://discord.gg/vsEnV7U
**We use Discord as our main means of communication between players and referees**
- You MUST be patient and available for communication while you wait for the next game and your opponent to finish.

Tournament Schedule: 2 week tournament
Group Stages:
- May 7th (Friday) 4pm EST - Group Stages Bo3
- May 14th (Friday) - Quarter Finals Bo5 / Semi Finals Bo5 / Finals Bo5
- May 15th (Saturday) - POSSIBLE RESCHEDULE DAY FOR FINALS
**If you can be available online during the default timings please do not sign up for the event!**
Tournament Server:
- Players can login from any Battlenet servers as W3Champions custom game mode has cross realm feature implemented.

Tournament Check-in timing:
- Check-in opens 1 day before the start of the tournament
Tournament Format:
- Single Elimination Bo3 Group Stages
- Single Elimination Bo5 Quarter Finals / Semi Finals / Finals
Group Stage:
- Single Elimination format
- Will be completed during one weekend
- All matches in the Group Stage are a best of 3
Final Stage:
- Single Elimination Bo5 format
- Lasts for one weekend
- Quarter-Final matches are a best of 5
- Semi-Final matches are a best of 5
- Third Place match is a best of 5
- Championship match is a best of 5

Vetoes, Picks and Starting Map Process:
Best of 3:
- Veto: A/B/A/B/A/B until 3 maps are remaining
- Each player picks a loser map
- The last remaining map is the starting map.
- The losing player gets to pick their previously chosen loser map for the next game
Best of 5:
- Veto: A/B/A/B/A/B until 5 maps are remaining
- Continue A/B/A/B process with each player picking two loser maps.
- The last remaining map is the starting map.
- First loser map you pick during veto is the first map played if you lose.
In the event of a Disconnection:
- If there is a player disconnection in the game, the remaining players of that team must declare their intention for a rematch by immediately pausing the game and then requesting for a rematch.
- If a rematch request is granted by the opponent, the game will be re-hosted.
- If a rematch request is not granted by the opponent, the game will continue.
- The game will continue if there is no immediate pause by the remaining players of that team.
- In the scenario that multiple players disconnect together at the same time due to a server glitch, the game replay will be brought to the organizing committee and a decision will be made base on internal voting.

Tournament Rules and Regulations:
- All participants must install W3Champions (https://www.w3champions.com) in order to participate in this tournament (strictly enforced).
- Check-in starts 24 hours before the event on the Challenge site here and MUST be completed before playing. (Simply click Check-in)
- Tournament starts at 4pm EST
- Players have until 4:30pm EST to start their first matches. If you are unavailable by this time you are Forfeited!
- Once first matches conclude during group stage, players have 20 minutes after their previous game has finished to get the next match started.
(Keep in mind this means your opponent may cause you to wait longer than 20 minutes if they finish after you.)
- If you do not start the game after 20 minutes you forfeit.
- Please contact a referee or organizer if any problems arise
- Brackets on Challonge are not final until check-in stage has passed with all teams processed and finalised.
- All tournament participants are recommended to refresh their browsers to check the updated brackets on Challonge once the tournament organisers had declared the tournament as "started" or "in progress".
- All participants are to log into a Battlenet server and meet at the W3Champions channel "IBL" before the start of game.
- Players can start the veto process after check-in among themselves accordingly to the laid out rules.
- All tournament players are to host their own games under the W3Champions custom game mode.
- All tournament maps are stated under the map pool section above.
- W3Champions customizable zoom function is allowed.
- All anonymous maps (maps without showing player names) or any other altered maps (item drops, creep camps, terrains or gold mines changed) are not allowed in the tournament (strictly).
- There will be tournament referees and organisers on standby to help out if needed.
- No public and other tournament players (including the 2 reserves from each team) are allowed to observe game (strictly).
- Only referees, organizers, official live streamers from International Battle League (IBL) and sponsors are allowed to observe all tournament games (they will declare their status upon entering) unless agreed upon by BOTH players.
- Tournament participants who are casting their own games MUST delay their live streaming by 3 minutes to avoid stream sniping from opponents or will result in cancelled games and possible forfeit.
- No general chats are allowed by observers in the game due to live streaming.
- The winning player to report score on challonge website and provide replays in the discord channel #replay-section.
- REPLAYS MUST BE SAVED BY BOTH PLAYERS
- Any player who is 21 minutes late or more for their respective matches will be forfeited and considered a loss.
- The referee's decision is final. Any appeal must be made directly to any of the organisers.
- Basic mannerism must be observed at all times. Anyone found guilty of any of the below offences will be dropped from the tournament immediately (strictly):
* Racist remarks.
* Offensive language.
* Vulgarity.
* Cursing.
* Swearing.
* Flaming.
* Team killing.
* Disrespect to any of the tournament participants, referees, organisers, sponsors and live streamers.
* Abuse of sudden pausing in the game especially in the scenario of hero killing with last hit/spell.
* Hacking or cheating of any kind.
* Stream sniping.
* Smurfing.
* Impostering.
